Birth
Born on June 10, 1967, into a farming family in Village No. 19, Neighborhood No. 2, Chunqurchaq Village, Maralbishi County, East Turkistan.

Primary Education (1974–1979)
1974–1979
Began primary school in 1974. Due to continuous public humiliation and harassment by Chinese occupation authorities in front of students and teachers, Abdulahad withdrew from the state-run school system.
National & Islamic Higher Education (1979–1989)
1979–1989
Determined to continue his education outside the Chinese regime's system, he attended local underground independent schools.
1984
He relocated to Kashgar to pursue university-level national and religious education at the prestigious Khanliq Madrasah.
1989
He graduated after completing studies in:
- Memorization of the Qur'an
- Tajweed
- Tafsir
- Hadith
He received his graduation certificate and teaching license (Ijazah) from Chief Mudarris Sulaiman Damollam and Salih Damollam.
Political Activism, Imprisonment and Exile (1989–2001)
1989
Began serving as a Mudarris (Professor/Instructor) in Kashgar.
February 1990
Arrested and imprisoned in Maralbishi for speaking against Chinese occupation.
April 5, 1990
Transferred to Kashgar Regional Prison after being linked to the Baren Revolution.
1993
Released after three years of illegal detention.
- Arbitrarily fined 10,000 RMB despite lack of evidence.
August 1993
Arrested again following a bombing incident in Kashgar.
- Released later due to lack of evidence.
1994
Escaped a police raid.
- Lived in hiding between Urumqi and Ghulja.
September 1997
Forced to flee East Turkistan, leaving behind his wife and three children.
1997–1999
Lived in Kyrgyzstan.
June 1999
Escaped to Türkiye after discovering Chinese intelligence was tracking him.
Transnational Repression and Family Tragedy (1999–2006)
1999
- Chinese intelligence imprisoned his family to pressure him into returning.
- UNHCR in Ankara granted him refugee status.
- His family was subsequently released.
November 14, 2001
- Arrived in Canada.
- Applied to sponsor his family.
- Although visas were approved, Chinese authorities refused to issue passports.
2005
- His wife travelled to Saudi Arabia for Hajj.
- After eight years apart, they reunited in Mecca.
- They completed Canadian immigration procedures and arrived in Canada together on May 24, 2005.
2006
Chinese intelligence attempted to recruit them as informants. After refusing, they received devastating news that:
- Daughter Amina had died.
- Son Alimjan had died.
- Daughter Farida was severely injured.
The incident was presented as an accidental drowning.
Community Leadership and Government-in-Exile (2008–Present)
2008
Founded the Alberta Uyghur Cultural Society to preserve Uyghur culture and education in Canada.
2017
Chinese authorities again threatened his family.
- Communication with relatives ceased completely.
- Their current condition remains unknown.
October 2018
- Elected Member of Parliament of the East Turkistan Government-in-Exile.
- Appointed Minister of Religious Affairs.
November 12, 2019
Appointed Vice President of the East Turkistan Government-in-Exile.
November 12, 2023 – Present
Elected Prime Minister of the East Turkistan Government-in-Exile.
Currently resides in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada with his wife and four children.
